Helping Mothers to Make the Good Choice

The widespread killing of the unborn is the work of Satan, the Enemy of God, and the Enemy of the human race.  Abortion is a serious injustice against the child.  Our role, however, is not to judge but to help.

The Reality of the Devil

The widespread killing of the unborn is the work of Satan, the Enemy of God, and the Enemy of the human race.  If our nation is to wake up from this nightmare, millions of souls must be freed from the oppression of the Devil:

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.  (Ephesians 6:12)

In primitive societies, child sacrifice was practiced to win the favor of supposed deities.  In reality, evil spirits were at work to deceive the people. 

Today, in Western society, the same demons trick many people into killing their children before they see the light of day.  As in the Garden of Eden, the devil promises that one can live a better life if we set aside God’s laws and make our own decisions. 

In both ancient and modern societies, the result is the same:  those who are most innocent are targeted by the Devil.

Compassion for the Mothers

Some mothers who obtain abortions seem to be making a free choice.  However, the decision is usually made under pressure.  The idea of raising a child without help can be frightening.  Pressure can come from a father who doesn’t want to pay child support, or from embarrassed grandparents.  Physical violence can come from abusive partners or from slave holders.

To be clear, abortion is always a serious injustice against the child. It is never acceptable.  However, God knows the entire situation and judges with perfect justice.  Our role is not to judge, but to help.

We Can Help By:

1. Accompany the mother to a pro-life pregnancy help center.  Here, compassion, love, and education are available.

2. Ask the mother to think about the future.  A new life can bring joy, even in a difficult environment.

3. Encourage the mother to ask God for miracles.  He will come through!

We Need God’s Help

By protecting human life, we come against the Devil.  His reprisals can seem frightening, but he will not win.  In prayer, let us seek to do God’s work.  He will be with us.
